Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with any other parties. Any course records are available to you and are stored in our wordpress based LRS. Learning Record Store. They are not accessible to other except in the case of members of a teacher or tutor group where the group leader will have access to the students progress and submitted answers. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

Your account records are stored while you are a member but are not made available to any other parties. We do not store or have access to your payment or financial details or records in any way. The financial transaction are controlled and managed by Stripe and Woo Commerce payment portals with their financial and data protection.

When your subscription expires we will hold your course details for one month in case you wish to return then they may be deleted to create space.If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our website administrator can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
We collect non financial information about you during the course purchase process using Stripe as well as information relating to your course progression and quiz performance. Your name email and purchase information is passed to Stripe throuigh the Woo Commerce store portal. This information is not sent on to any other agencies or organizations

What we collect and store for the LMS we use

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

–Send you information about your account and order

–Send you a monthly newsletter and special offers unless you unsubscribe to email updates.

–Create your account for our LMS

If you register a free account then we will store your email address.

We store information about you for as long as your account exists.

We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions.

We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.

All of this information will be deleted after your subscription ends plus one month unless you request deletion sooner.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, our website Administrator and support staff. If you are a member of a Teacher or Tutor Group they as Group Leaders can access the records of the students that they enroll.

–Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address. are kept on our records in order to be able to make available to you the course materials and help ensure your access is without technical issues.

You will have basic additional information added in your WordPress User Profile from which you may sometimes need to login this can also be visible to the site administrator(s).

Payments

We accept payments through Stripe using the Woo Commerce product platform. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
